Sam Burros (he/him) is a freelance writer, producer and cook based in Brooklyn, New York. Previously, Burros worked as a food and lifestyle reporter at People Magazine, an editorial fellow for Food Network and a recipe tester for Alison Roman’s cookbook Sweet Enough. He has also been a contributor for Epicurious, The Kitchn and Heritage Radio Network. He graduated with an M.A. in Food Studies from NYU Steinhardt. Before making the pivot to all things food, Burros studied theatre at NYU Tisch Drama where he met artistic collaborators and lifelong friends with whom he created Miss Jordan’s Spring 2020 Production, available to stream on Broadstream.
